Outstraight Records release debut EP Being Outstraight, with lead single 'Drive Around'

Following a successful 2023, Dublin-based music and performance collective Outstraight Records have released their 7-track EP Being Outstraight, with lead single 'Drive Around.'

Outstraight Records provides Irish hip hop artists with a platform to showcase the community’s wealth of diversity and talent. Being Outstraight has clearly marked the ten artist collective as a group to watch moving forward.

The release signifies their dedication to the local hip hop and rap scenes, showcasing the genre's diverse and authentic expressions. Nearly a decade since its founding, the collective has grown into what is now a record label, publishing house and multi-disciplinary events organiser.

A celebration of the vibrant energy of what is a ten artist-strong collective, Being Outstraight serves as a sonic journey,  presenting an eclectic soundscape which demonstrates the full spectrum of hip sound sensibilities and energy emanating from Ireland's rich music and arts scenes.

The lead single, 'Drive Around,' Graham's old-school hip hop delivery balances a distinctly Irish edge. Teeming with classic boom bap production, the lively number features a toned down rhythm section, granting ample room for Graham's intoxicating vocals, which seem to fill every molecule of air, as the track ensues.
