Pleasure Beach, Saint Sister & I'm Your Vinyl feature on the Can't Cope, Won't Cope soundtrack
The new RTÉ series features loads of great Irish and international acts
The subject of a major feature in the next issue of Hot Press, new RTÉ2 new Can’t Cope, Won’t Cope comedy drama has a cracking soundtrack that’s been assembled by director Cathy Brady and Silverstream Music’s Juliet Martin.
Among those featured are Daithí, Plutonic Dust, Saint Sister, Squarehead, Little xs For Eyes, I’m Your Vinyl, Liza Flume, Pleasure Beach, Lisa Hannigan and Sligo band Hi-Jackers who’ve written a song specially for the show.
There are also quality tunes from Texan Sarah Jaffe, London electro poppers Kubalove, fellow Brit synth merchants Labyrinth Ear and Berlin-based Swede New-found-land.
Premiering at 10pm on September 19, it’s written by Stefanie Preissner of Solpadeine Is My Boyfriend renown and co-stars Nika McGuigan, Amy Huberman and Seána Kerslake who’s beyond awesome as the lead in A Date For Mad Mary.
