Pitbull sets Guinness World Record at Hyde Park for largest gathering of people wearing bald caps
Friday’s performance marks the conclusion of the 'I'm Back' tour's UK and Ireland leg.
Rapper Pitbull has set a brand-new Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of individuals wearing bald caps.
Ahead of his scheduled performance at the British Summer Time festival last Friday, a total of 22,141 fans donned the caps in London's Hyde Park. Pitbull is the first person to attempt this feat under official adjudication.
While fans of "Mr. Worldwide" frequently wear bald caps at his concerts, the singer formally announced his goal of breaking the record back in February. Many attendees also emulated other elements of the artist's signature style, sporting suits, black aviator sunglasses, and stick-on dark goatees.
"Record-breaking, record-making, history in the making,” said Pitbull, "Thank you, London. Thank you to the fans, thank you Hyde Park, thank you to the bald-es,"

Kesha appeared on stage as an opener for Pitbull, performing solo material from her album Period. She later joined Pitbull onstage to perform their hit 'Timber' live for the first time in 13 years, sporting a bedazzled bald cap to match the crowd of 'bald-es'.
The Miami-born artist, known for hits like ‘Fireball’, ‘Timber’, ‘Time Of Our Lives', and ‘On the Floor', recently put out his latest album, UNDERDOGS, alongside collaborator DJ IAmChino in April.
Friday’s performance marks the conclusion of the tour's UK and Ireland leg where he performed in Marlay Park in Dublin, Thomond Park in Limerick and Belsonic in Belfast. The 'I'm Back' tour continues through December, culminating in Finland on December 8.
