Pharrell Williams Has Recorded A Song That Won't Be Released Until 2117
The 'Happy' star made only one copy of '100 Years – The Song We'll Only Hear If We Care', and has locked it in a water-vulnerable safe.
Pharrell Williams teamed up with cognac brand, Louis XIII, and won’t release the aforementioned song for 100 years.
The track itself has been engraved on clay made from soil taken at the Louis XIII vineyard. In its water-vulnerable safe, the idea is to raise awareness for global warming.
It’s not the first type of ‘time capsule’ marketing that the cognac brand have run with. They also made a film with actor John Malkovich that won't be released until 2115.
