Paul Smith Announces New Solo Album
Paul Smith rose to fame as the frontman of English alternative-rock band, Maxïmo Park, alongside Duncan Lloyd, Lukas Wooller and Tom English.
This is the fourth solo project from Smith, excluding the six studio albums he released with Maxïmo Park. Diagrams follows Margins in 2010, Frozen by Sight in 2014 and Contradictions in 2015.
Along with the announcement of his album, Diagrams, Smith also unveils new single entitled ‘Silver Rabbit.’
‘Silver Rabbits’ was co-produced by Andrew Hodson of Warm Digits. On the new song, Smith says: “It's a punchy song where the self-doubt and regret in the lyrics is mirrored by the musical tension that develops as it goes along. I grew up in the grunge era, so this has echoes of that sound but with my own romantic view of everyday life.”
Diagrams will be released October 26th through Billingham Records, see below for the tracklist to the new album.
