Paddy Goodwin and The Holy Ghosts announce new single ‘Exterminate’
A searing indictment of the war in Gaza, the track is out now.
Paddy Goodwin and The Holy Ghosts have announced the release of their new single ‘Exterminate’, which is already available.
A searing indictment of the war in Gaza, the track was engineered by Jason Varley, who also plays drums, while the accompanying music video was directed by Eanna De Faoite – with Goodwin contributing bass, guitar and vocals.

Goodwin’s last release dates back to last year with the single ‘Granard Grotto’ in tribute to Ann Lovett, released in collaboration with B J Cole and Enda White.
In 2023, Goodwin and his holy Ghosts put out the record The Church of the Here and Now – which was rated a 9/10 by Hot Press, who called it “a gutsy blues-rock album, with the ghosts of music past hovering over living musicians – actually playing together, rather than the created-in-a-laboratory effect much modern music can become.”
