Orla Gartland to play Whelans Dublin in May
The singer-songwriter / musician rose to fame after utilising her YouTube account to post song covers.
Heavily influenced by Joni Mitchell and Imogen Heap, Gartland will bring her intimate show to Whelans next month, after playing a gig in London at Thousand Island.
She started her singing from the age of thirteen, picking up a guitar after years of playing Irish trad music. Her debut single Devil On My Shoulder was released in 2012 and her EP 'Roots' in 2013.
Playing on the 25th of May upstairs in the venue, tickets will be on sale ticketmaster.ie from tomorrow morning, Wednesday the 18th of April at 10am. It is 18+.
Orla has previously performed as the support act for fellow Irish singer-songwriter Bry, and late last year was a bandmate for Dodie Clark on her 'You' tour.

shoutout to the girl at IKEA Wembley who - instead of saying hi - walked beside me & whispered one of my own lyrics into my ear, then ran away
