Her first track of 2024 is accompanied by a music video released via her own label New Friend
Dublin-born artist and producer Orla Gartland has released her first new single of 2024 ‘Little Chaos’ and its accompanying video.
Described as 'a love song, a giant surrendering’, the release follows the announcement of Gartland’s sold-out I’M YOUR GIRL mini tour, which will take her to Dublin’s The Grand Social on May 21. She will also be playing at Leeds Festival on May 25.
Speaking of her new track, Gartland said: “I think a lot about how to move through the world alongside a partner and for a long time I wanted to show up in relationships as easy-going and palatable, never taking up too much space - now I can’t think of anything worse.
“I can be loud, funny, clumsy, loyal, intelligent, annoying, caring, angry; this song is about showing up as all of it, all at once. I think dropping the act and showing your true self feels like the most vulnerable thing you can do.”

Known for her unique and fun take on folk pop, Gartland came out with her debut album Woman on The Internet in 2021, after having garnered the public’s attention with a series of EPs and singles.
Since then, the singer has collaborated with dodie, Greta Isaac and Martin Luke Brown to create the band FIZZ, who released their debut album The Secret To Life in 2023.
