Nite Life 06
With such a high international profile, it’s hard to believe that Nite Life is his first mix CD to date
Like his sun inflected productions, German moody man Ian Pooley has always showed impeccable taste when playing records, even if his mixing skills aren’t always up to scratch. With such a high international profile, it’s hard to believe that Nite Life is his first mix CD to date, but listening to the twenty odd tracks that constitute this mix we can only hope it won’t be his last.
From deep string led heart tracks though to live breaks taking in catchy disco house and deep, techy material, this is a wholly representative selection of modern house that should make even old misery guts from Mainz himself smile.
