Nimbus Rising
There’s an undoubted passion running through this album that gives it the edge over many of its major label contemporaries
Orlagh de Bhaldraithe comes to us via the organic route of busking, theatre and small independent labels. Sitting firmly in the downbeat, singer songwriter camp, Nimbus Rising could do with a touch more restraint in the taking itself too seriously department.
That said, there’s an undoubted passion running through the album that gives it the edge over many of its major label contemporaries. Sometimes you can’t buy class.
