Music Potential Belfast set to showcase work this Tuesday
The project is facilitated by Oh Yeah Music Centre on behalf of London based Capital XTRA Radio. It is also one of the largest talent searches and music schemes available to musicians.
Music Potential Belfast aims to support young musicians between the ages of eighteen and twenty-five, improving skills in the areas of developing one's own talent and enhancing employability prospects.
This year saw sixty participants take part in intense workshops and training in areas of music production, writing, performance and events management known as the MPX programme. They also had the chance to work alongside industry professionals, such as Leah McFall, Callum Stewart and Iain Archer.
Tomorrow is their first live performance since the workshops, taking place at the Oh Yeah Music Centre, Belfast. Featuring singer-songwriter Shauna McArdle in a collaboration with rapper Jack McQuillan and seasoned pros Rebekah Fitch and Conor Maley, entry is free in and doors will open at 7pm. 18+ only.
