Music Network Announces CD Launch of Clouds By Aoife Doyle
The CD launch will take place on Wednesday June 28 at 8pm at the United Arts Club in Dublin.
Clouds is a collection of songs written by Irish singer Aoife Doyle and arranged by an exceptional jazz quartet the Aoife Doyle Band.
The group officially formed in 2010 and have been playing gigs around Ireland since then. The quartet, consisting of Aoife Doyle, Johnny Taylor, Andrew Csibi and Dominic Mullan, have gained critical acclaim individually and as a group for their outstanding talents as some of the best young musicians in Dublin.
“We are delighted to release this collection of songs, our first album of original music. Our sound has developed a lot in the last few years and the fruits can be heard on this CD. Creatively we have come a long way. Music Network’s suppose has been imperative to this development. Their understanding of the elements that contribute to the development of an artist are undeniable. To avail of the support and experience Music Network has to offer has been a privilege I am most grateful for”, the jazz/folk singer said in a statement.
This is a free event but tickets are required. Tickets are available from Music Network’s official website musicnetwork.ie. Clouds is available to buy from selected record shops, on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and at aoifedoyle.com from June 28.
