Tickets for the gig go on sale Friday, March 27, at 10AM
Mount Eerie has announced he will play Dublin's The Button Factory with special guest Maggie Miller on June 17.
Mount Eerie is the musical project of American songwriter and producer Phil Elverum, also of the band The Microphones.
Elverum is the principal member of Mount Eerie but has collaborated with many other musicians on his records and in live performances. Most of Mount Eerie's releases have been issued on Elverum's label, P.W. Elverum & Sun, Ltd, and feature highly detailed packaging with his own artwork.
The first Mount Eerie releases included a limited edition CD of seven new songs; a 12" EP recorded live to acetate with local musicians during an Australian tour (Mount Eerie Dances with Wolves); and a live triple album released by Burnt Toast Vinyl in late 2004 titled Live in Copenhagen.
Maggie Miller, also known as M. Maggie, is an American singer and songwriter born in Bakersfield, California, and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Miller first gained recognition when she collaborated with music producer Black Coast on songs such as 'Trndsttr', 'Ride', and 'Enough'.
Since then, Miller has released two further albums, Lost In Color in 2017 and Love, Sex, M. in 2020.
Tickets for The Button Factory gig go on sale Friday, March 27, at 10AM via Ticketmaster.ie.
