Me And The Drummer
After countless albums Willie Nelson is still as prolific as ever, and has recently produced some of his best work, including Spirit and the Daniel Lanois-produced Teatro.

The title track here is an old favourite and the only non-original on offer. It's an album of mostly slow to mid-tempo ballads that feature Nelson's trademark guitar and vocal stylings.
The rest of the Offenders include Texas stalwarts Johnny Bush on drums and Floyd Domino on piano as well as guests including Johnny Gimble on fiddle.
Me And The Drummer has a late-night relaxed mood and some nimble playing from all involved.
This is an album that long-time Willie fans will welcome. Long may he continue to do what he does so well.
