Massive Attack to join Kneecap for their Wembley show tonight
They will open the show with a “special audio/visual presentation” in support of Palestine.
Massive Attack are set to open for Kneecap’s 12,500-capacity OVO Wembley Arena show tonight, September 18, with a “special audio/visual presentation” in support of Palestine.
The show will mark Kneecap’s biggest England gig to date, and will have Gurriers as opening act.
Sharing the news on social media, Massive Attack said: “We’ve been looking forward to Wembley Arena for a long time – Go raibh maith agat,” before tagging Palestine Solidarity Campaign and the BDS Movement.
Kneecap also took to social media, writing: “We’re honoured to be welcoming Massive Attack to our Wembley show tomorrow night with a special audio/visual presentation. Get in early. Free Palestine Forever.”
Back in July, Massive Attack, Kneecap and other artists such as Fontaines D.C. and Brian Eno formed an an alliance for artists speaking out for Gaza, calling to “end threats and censorship against artists who speak against the genocide in Palestine.”
Most recently, Kneecap took over the Main Stage at Electric Picnic 2025 for what Hot Press called “a potent blend of music and political declaration.”
