The trip hoppers won't be performing at the Derry event as planned.
Massive Attack are off the line-up for the Peace One Day concert planned for Ebrington in June.
The trip hop pioneers - who were billed as the headline act in the June 21 concert - won’t be performing “due to unforeseen circumstances”, according to a statement released by the Culture Company.
“Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstance Massive Attack will not be performing at Peace One Day", said a Culture Company spokesperson.

"However, Peace One Day will deliver a great concert and are currently in the process of finalising a great line-up for the event. We are looking forward to announcing the full line-up and ticketing details for what promises to be a fantastic event, as part of London 2012 Festival announcements next week.”
The Peace One Day concert, the line-up of which is still unknown, is to be the first major outdoor concert at the Ebrington site.
