Listen to the new single below.
Nashville country singer Margo Price has released her new single 'Don't Wake Me Up' in collaboration with American singer-songwriter Jesse Welles. The song is the second single released, after 'Don't Let The Bastards Get You Down', ahead of her new album Hard Headed Woman, set to come out August 29.
Additionally, a music video for 'Don't Wake Me Up' directed by Hannah Gray Hall was also released, inspired by Bob Dylan's 'Subterranean Homesick Blues'.
Since her first album Midwest Farmer's Daughter came out in 2016, Price has been nominated for a GRAMMY and became the first female musician appointed to the Farm Aid Board of Directors. She has also collaborated with numerous artists including Dolly Patron and Mavis Staples.
In addition to the new single, Price has also announced her Wild At Heart Tour, heading to venues around North America later this year. No Irish dates have been announced as of yet.
More information about the tour can be found here and Hard Headed Women can be pre-ordered here.
