LISTEN: Sufjan Stevens and Angelo De Augustine team up for 'Blue'

Multi-instrumentalist Angelo De Augustine has collaborated with Sufjan Stevens on a new single. Called 'Blue', the minimalist track sees Stevens lending vocals, piano and guitar.

The track will appear alongside 'Santa Barbara', their spring collaboration, on a double A-side 7" single.

“‘Blue’ speaks of an admission in confidence to a friend,” Angelo De Augustine noted in a statement. “The eternal and symbiotic bond of mother and child, and an inquisition into our inner pain, investigating if we are forever bound by it.”

Last year, De Augustine released his album Tomb on Stevens' Asthmatic Kitty Records.
