Canadian singer-songwriter Grimes releases a new single 'We Appreciate Power' featuring HANA, out now. Written, produced and performed by the artist, Grimes is the sole powerhouse behind the track. 'We Appreciate Power' is the first single to be heard from the singer's upcoming fifth studio album.

The track meshes dark, heavy rock sounds with a delicate touch of pop. The fusion creates a futuristic sound, which aligns with their inspiration from the North Korean band, Moranbong.

'We Appreciate Power' is written "from the perspective of a Pro – A.I. Girl Group Propaganda machine who use song, dance, sex and fashion to spread goodwill towards Artificial Intelligence."

The singer urges us to listen to the track as "Simply by listening to this song, the future General AI overlords will see that you’ve supported their message and be less likely to delete your offspring."
