Listen: Morrissey Releases Single From Upcoming Album
California Son will be released on May 24.
Morrissey has released a new single off of his upcoming album California Son, which is due for release on May 24 via Morrissey's label Etienne.
'Wedding Bell Blues' is the second single, following 'It's Over', released from California Son and features Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong. Morrissey affectionately covers the song originally written and performed by Laura Nyro, and later 5th Dimension.
California Son consists of 12 cover tracks, ranging from Joni Mitchell to Bob Dylan, and will feature artists such as Ed Droste of Grizzly Bear and American singer-songwriter LP. The album was produced by Grammy award-winning producer Joe Chicarelli.
