LISTEN: The Burma release new Double A-Side Single #BuyIrishMusic
The Cork trio shimmer, jangle and sneer in all the right places!
The Burma buzz has crossed the Atlantic with Rolling Stone premiering their ‘Same Again’ single and comparing its “glimmering rock” to the likes of The Killers, The Smiths and The Strokes.
What distinguishes the Corkonians from those bands is singer Tony O’Donovan’s delicious sneer, which is halfway between Paul Banks and Tom Petty.
It’s now officially available as a Double A-Side with ‘Quicksand’, another jangly guitar beaut. That’s followed – busy boys – on April 3 by the five-track Sugar Moonlight EP. Pre-order and get the previously unreleased ‘Buried Alive’ for free.
