Tickets are on-sale now and can be found below.
The headline acts for Cork's Quiet Lights festival have been announced, including Lisa O’Neill, Rich(ard) Dawson, Múm, Gyða Valtýsdóttir and Mary Lattimore.
The folk, traditional, and experimental festival, now in its sixth year, will take place from November 20-23.
English folk singer-songwriter Dawson is set to kick things off on Friday, Novemebr 21, followed by O’Neill's contemporary folk performance on Saturday, November 22.
Sunday, November 23rd will see the Icelandic collective Múm, known for blending electronic and acoustic sounds. The band's founding member and cellist Valtýsdóttir is also set to perform a double bill with American harpist Lattimore.
All headline gigs will take place at St Luke’s.
The rest of the line-up is set to be announced in the coming weeks.
“Myself and the rest of the team are really excited to begin announcing the line-up for Quiet Lights 2025," said Festival Director Jonathan Pearson.
"With this first announcement, we invite the people of Cork into Live at St Luke’s to experience four truly unique artists. It’s long been an ambition of mine to bring some of Iceland’s finest talents to Cork, so having both Gyða and Múm grace the stage feels especially meaningful."
"Alongside them, we’re thrilled to welcome one of Ireland’s most iconic songwriters, Lisa O’Neill, to headline Saturday night, and Rich(ard) Dawson - another long-held wish for the festival - to open the weekend on Friday. Completing St Luke’s programme is the ever-innovative harpist Mary Lattimore.”
