Lewis Capaldi to livestream Hyde Park show this weekend

Lewis Capaldi has announced that he will be live streaming his BST Hyde Park show on Saturday, July 11.

The Scottish singer is going to capture his set using a 26-camera setup, as well as drone cinematography and it will be freely available for audiences globally via YouTube.

The upcoming gig this weekend will mark his biggest headline show to date and is part of his sold-out UK and Ireland tour.

Artists joining Capaldi July 11 include The Vaccines, Absolutely, Nieve Ella, Tyler Ballgame, Kerr Mercer, NECKBREAKERS, Benjamin Steer, Luz, Sebastian Croft and Luke La Volpe.

In the past, a number of live shows have been broadcasted from Hyde Park, including Live 8 in 2005 and Paul McCartney's performance in 2010.

"BST Hyde Park has welcomed some of the world's biggest artists over the years," said Jim King of AEG Presents, "so we're incredibly excited that Lewis Capaldi will make history as the first artist to livestream their full performance from the festival."

He recently played two sold-out shows in Marlay Park, June 23-24, supported by special guests CMAT and Bradley Marshall.

His latest EP, Survive, signaled his return to music following his 2023 album Broken By Desire to Be Heavenly Sent. Following a set at Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage that had to be cut short due to the artists struggles with Tourettes, he took a break from performing to focus on his mental health.

Speaking at a Glasgow festival, TRNSMT in June 2026, "I’m back and I’m feeling better, I feel good," Capaldi reflected, "I’m firing on all cylinders, it’s nice to be here. My mental health took a beating so it’s fucking nice to be here and back with you all.”

“After this summer,” he continued later, “I’m gonna go away for a bit and make an album.”
