Komfort.Labor 01
Komfort.Labor 01 is Stefan ‘Pole’ Betke’s debut mix CD.
Komfort.Labor 01 is Stefan ‘Pole’ Betke’s debut mix CD. A reflection of the chill out room in WMF Club, Berlin’s oldest house night, where Betke is resident, the CD starts off with slow motion electronic dub cuts from the likes of Vladislav Delay and Kit Clayton before reaching the relatively uptempo deep, looped techno of Maus & Stolle’s ‘Taxi’. From then on in, Komfort.Labor 01 shifts back down a few gears with abstract textures courtesy of Jen Jelinek, jazzy flourishes from Flanger and Cinematic Orchestra as well as the hissing dub of Betke’s own ‘Rondell 2’. A dreamy, soft focus mix for the blissed out afternoon after the night before.
