KNEECAP are on track to earn their first Top 40 hit on the UK Albums Chart with their 2024 album Fine Art, due to the popularity of their new single 'Sayōnara', released on September 2.
According to the midweek insights, the album sat at number 34 on the UK chart earlier this week.
'Sayōnara' was made in collaboration with Paul Hartnoll of Orbital. Its music video, starring Derry Girls actor Jamie Lee O'Donnell, was released on the same day as the track.
The song was recently performed by KNEECAP at their Electric Picnic set.
Additionally, the rap trio released their single 'THE RECAP' in June. Both songs are set to feature on an upcoming 12" vinyl release, available on October 10.
Fine Art is the group'a debut album, following 2018's mixtape 3cag. It debuted at number two in Ireland.
