Kitt Philippa Takes Her Summer Tour to Dublin
The Belfast multi-talented musician plays Dublin's East Side Tavern tonight
Off the back of her much buzzed about new single 'Human', Kitt Philippa will perform this evening at Dublin's East Side Tavern venue.
Classically trained in clarinet and piano, as well as being a proficient guitarist, the musician has garnered many admirers including Hozier. Fans seeing her today can expect contributions from a live string quartet, some live percussion and the musician's trademark signature layers and loops.
Tracks to be covered tonight include songs from her 2013 EP Broken to Be Rebuilt, such as 'Hosanna', a delicate orchestra driven indie tune in the vein of Florence and the Machine, as well as new song 'Human' which sees her move into a more poppy Sam Smith-esque mode.
Tickets are still available for the gig and cost €12. Doors open at 7:30 pm.
See the video for 'Human' below.
