Killers announce 3Arena, Dublin show in support of new album
The pop-rock outfit will play in support of their new album Wonderful Wonderful.
Pop evangelists of the Nevada badlands The Killers are set to release their first album since 2012's Battle Born.
Wonderful Wonderful, their fifth outing, will be released prior to a tour which sees the band visit Ireland once again.
A 3Arena, Dublin gig is scheduled for November 16. Tickets are priced from 65 euro "including booking and facility fees" according to a press release from MCD.
The band recently dropped a cinematic video for their funkified, danceable new song "The Man":
Shades of Young Americans era Bowie here! If this tune is any indication, their new album will be a rollicking ride.
The press release claims that the album is "shaping up to be the band’s most sonically forward-thinking record yet".
Frontman Brandon Flowers told Entertainment Weekly in June "we really want to make a record here, not just slap a bunch of songs together…. I think we’ve done it again on this album. It’s the closest thing we’ve done to Sam’s Town.”
The album has yet to receive a definite release date.
