Kean Kavanagh announces Dublin headline show to mark new EP
The Portlaoise star previously struck Irish indie music gold with his debut album Dog Person, and will now treat fans to a headline show in Whelans in October.
Producer and musician Kean Kavanagh has announced the release date of his long awaited new EP Wrestling Music, alongside Dublin and London headline shows.
Wrestling Music will be released on July 28th via Kavanagh's own Irish label Soft Boy Records, which also represents fellow Irish talents Kojaque and Célia Tiab. Kavanagh is co-founder, producer and A&R of the label, which has morphed into a cultural behemoth of the upcoming Irish music scene.
Kavanagh launched the news alongside a blistering new track ‘Feel It Coming’, the indie artist's first single since dropping 'Mary' in April.

The news also lands with the announcement of headline gigs in Dublin and London in October. Kavanagh will play the Oslo in London on October 10, followed soon after by a gig in Whelans on October 14. Tickets will go on sale this Friday June 30th at 10am.
Kavanagh has become a growing success story, having already shared stages with names such as Loyle Carner and Lana Del Ray. The singer has also racked up some consequential solo-slots, opening for Maverick Sabre and Vampire Weekend, as well as starring in a Boiler Room documentary about his Soft Boy Records label.
Tickets for Kean Kavanagh's upcoming Whelans headline show will be available on Friday here.
