The organisers of Kaleidoscope, Ireland's first family-focused music and arts festival, have announced 'We Are Family.' The event, which will take place August 13-15 at the Russborough House in Co. Wicklow, will feature six intimate shows that the whole family can enjoy.

The headliners for 'We Are Family' are Ryan McMullan, Lyra, and JC Stewart, but there will also be performances from the Dublin Gospel Choir, Cairde, African Gospel Choir, Lea Heart, Odhran Murphy, Bobbi Arlo, Rigsy, and Tracy Clifford.

The event will have matinee and evening shows for a crowd of 500. The Main Stage of 'We Are Family' will host the headlining performances while the Boompaloompa area will host the food and additional performances. Though the festival will not be selling alcohol, attendees will be allowed to bring a limited amount of their own alcohol to the event.

Event attendees will be able to enjoy the performances with other guests in distanced pods of 6 people, but outside of their pods they will be required to socially distance and wear masks. In addition, adult attendees must provide one of the following: proof of vaccination, high immunity, negative PCR test result, or antigen test result. To further promote the family-friendly philosophy, 'We Are Family' have announced that the first 100 grandparents or gran-guardians will be able to attend the event for free. A maximum of two tickets for grandparents can be included per booking, and they can be registered on Ticketmaster.

A free virtual recording of the event will be available to watch on the Kaleidoscope website on September 11.
