Dublin rapper Kaeyan has released the single ‘TROY PARROTT’, inspired by the Irish football player.
The single follows the underground rapper's EP, WHO TF IS KAEYAN?, which was released last October.
Confident and sharp, ‘TROY PARROTT’ centres on the mentality needed for success, arguing that anything is possible when you are focused and willing to create your own opportunities.
Kayean aligns himself with Troy Parrott, comparing himself to the football player who became a national hero last year, thanks to his performance in the World Cup Qualifiers.
The Troy Parrott mania began after the match against Portugal, where the forward scored both goals of the two-nil win over the Portuguese national team at the Aviva Stadium.
Parrott then made history in a game against Hungary, becoming the first Republic of Ireland player to score a hat-trick since Robbie Keane in 2014, and the first ever to score one in an away match for the national senior men's team.
The Irish Football National team's next match in the World Cup is on Thursday, March 26, against Czechia.
