Jessie Ware shares disco track 'Pearls' from upcoming new album
That! Feels Good! arrives on 28th April via PMR/Interscope.
Following the release of her latest album What's Your Pleasure?, UK singer-songwriter Jessie Ware has announced her new album That! Feels Good!.
The first single, 'Pearls,' has just been released. Co-written and produced by Stuart Price, Sarah Hudson and Coffee; the album lands on 28th April 2023. Price has made a name for himself after working with artists like Madonna, The Killers and Dua Lipa.
Ware describes 'Pearls' as a song "that doesn’t take itself too seriously but demands you to have a dance" - inspired by divas like Donna Summer, Evelyn Champagne King, Teena Marie, and Chaka Khan.
The catchy song comes with a dominant funky bass reminding of the '80s disco music. Check out the lyric video below.
After the release of What's Your Pleasure? in 2020, an expanded edition followed the year after. In 2022, Ware returned with the song 'Free Yourself' and a feature on the song 'Kiss of Life' on Kylie Minogue's Disco: Guest List Edition LP.
The new album features a total length of 40 minutes and contains 10 brand new songs. "It stems from over 10 years of understanding who I am, and who I enjoy being as an artist and the thrill of performance," Ware says of the project.
That! Feels Good! arrives on 28th April via PMR/Interscope.
