Jane’s Addiction share new single ‘Imminent Redemption’ reuniting core four members
The release marks the band’s first material with their original lineup in 34 years.
Jane’s Addiction and their original lineup of Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro, Stephen Perkins, and Eric Avery have returned with the single ‘Imminent Redemption’ – their first new music in 34 years.
This release follows the band’s announcement of the original lineup’s first tour since 2010, which has already gone through Europe with a stop at Trinity College for The Summer Series.
They first teased the song in May during an intimate show at Bush Hall in London, and announced its forthcoming release last week.
Listen to ‘Imminent Redemption’ below:
“It is different this time,” the band said in a press release. “To have everyone back together, releasing new music. It’s time. Welcome to the next chapter of Jane’s Addiction. ‘Imminent Redemption’ is only the beginning.”
Jane’s Redemption also previewed a song titled ‘True Love’ during a live show last year, but have yet to share it officially.
The band is set to embark on a North American headline tour next month, with support coming from Love & Rockets.
