James Morrison and Emili Sandé team up for Irish tour
Tickets go on sale Friday
James Morrison and Emeli Sandé are teaming up to play two shows in Ireland next summer. The duo will each play their own sets at Dublin's Iveagh Gardens on July 16 before heading to Galway to play in the Heineken Big Top at the Galway International Arts Festival on July 18.
Emeli Sandé is one of Britain’s most loved voices, earning an MBE for her contribution to music. The Scottish singer-songwriter first rose to prominence with her record-breaking debut album, Our Version of Events, featuring hits such as 'Next to Me', 'Read All About It' and 'Heaven'. The album became the biggest-selling UK record of 2012 and remains among the best-selling albums of the decade.
Since then, Sandé has continued to build her career, performing at the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2012 Olympics and collaborating with artists including Naughty Boy, Chip, Alicia Keys and Madonna.
James Morrison is perhaps best known for his album Undiscovered, which spent two weeks at No. 1 and a full year in the Top 40 charts. The album, which turns 20 this year, is set to be celebrated on this tour.
Released in 2006, Undiscovered produced the hit singles 'You Give Me Something' and 'Wonderful World'. The record also earned him three BRIT Award nominations and the title of Best British Male Solo Artist in 2007.
Tickets for the shows go on sale Friday, November 28, via Ticketmaster.ie.
