James announce a new studio album

On April 12, James will be releasing their new album entitled Yummy. The album will be released via Virgin Music and will become available for pre-order starting on January 25.

The first single on the album has already been released. “Is This Love” was released on the 15 of January and has just over 16 thousand plays on Spotify.

The song opens with a sweeping melody that draws the listener in as the group mulls over the complexities of love.

This will be the 18th studio album from the group. The band has gained quite a following reaching over 2.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify in their 42-year long career.

Last year at The Ivor Novello Awards 2023, the group was honoured for their 40th anniversary where they received the PRS Music Icon Award. They received this prize after their album Be Opened By The Wonderful reached number 3 in the UK in June.
