Irish songwriter Maria McCormack is set to release new album, Matters of the Heart
The Donegal singer/songwriter is releasing her second album on Bandcamp on Friday September 15.
Donegal singer/songwriter Maria McCormack is set to release her second album Matters of the Heart on Friday September 15. The new album was produced, recorded and mastered by Billy Robinson in the Grooveshack recording studio in Ramelton ,Co.Donegal.
The album is called Matter's of the Heart. Like Maria’s debut album I Choose to Love many different styles can be heard from track to track.
This album was originally born before Covid, and was crowdfunded. Since then McCormack has fallen in love and had two children. Matters of the Heart will tell her story of the love and loss she has experienced over the last few years.
The title of the album comes from a lyric in the song 'Queen of the Town' which can be heard on Friday along with the rest of the tracks.
The album will be released on Bandcamp on September 15
