Irish Songstress Aine Cahill Releases New Track

Cavan pop singer Áine Cahill has released her brand new single 'Beauty Is A Lie'.

The track is a haunting pop ballad, with a grand, almost cinematic-like production, which rivals Lana Del Rey's 'Young and Beautiful'. Her vocals are tender and powerful, telling a cryptic story about the myths of social media and obsession with appearance. Written by Áine and Jessica Sharman (Ward Thomas) and produced by Sharman, the production seeps into every nook and cranny of the listeners senses, not just pleasing the ear but blowing their minds with its universal message.

Accompanied by a creepy video of moving shadows and strobing lights, Cahill delves deep into the message that beauty is a myth, singing the excellent line "we all take pretty pictures, but beauty is a lie".

Cahill has delivered a stellar line of tracks, stunning audience with her singles '‘Plastic’ and ‘Blood Diamonds’. The 23 year old has spent the last year playing a host of acclaimed shows ranging from a sold out St Pancras Church, a sold-out Irish Tour, festival sets at Glastonbury, Latitude, Field Day, Secret Garden Party, Great Escape and more, followed by huge support tours for JP Cooper and Kodaline.
