Irish rappers Curtisy and Lil Skag join Natasha Bedingfield onstage at Kaleidoscope Festival
After two performances in Ireland, Bedingfield will now go to Canada to play festivals there.
Curtisy and Lil Skag joined Natasha Bedingfield onstage at her Kaleidoscope Festival show last Friday, July 3.
According to a post on Bedingfield’s Instagram, she invited the pair to join her show after Lil Skag DM’ed her.
The trio performed a mash-up of Pocketful of Sunshine mixed with Curtisy and Skag’s rap.
Skag, a 28-year-old Wexford artist, first made a name for himself with his debut single, ‘Cunning Linguist,’ in April 2023. He then dropped his debut EP, Y21, in February 2024. That year, he toured Ireland, appearing at All Together Now, Electric Picnic and a Boiler Room set at AVA in Belfast.
The artist moved to London in September but still returns back to Ireland for shows frequently.
He also appeared on Hot Press’ Hot for 2026 list.
“With the release of his album Type Shit last year, Lil Skag continues to win new converts with his brand of soft drill, flavoured with contemporary trap elements and unapologetic Irishness," wrote Hot Press.
Curtisy, a 26-year-old Tallaght-based rapper, has collaborated with many of the same artists as Skag, such as Ahmed With Love and Rory Sweeney. His first album, What Was The Question, debuted at No. 3 on the Official Independent Irish Album Charts.
“The rest is still unwritten,” Skag wrote in the caption of his Instagram post with photos from the show.
