Irish Artists for Palestine to host a Concert in Cork's St. Luke's
Irish Artists for Palestine have announced a concert for Gaza in Cork's Live at St. Luke's venue for December 2nd 2023
Off the back of the announcement that Irish Artists for Palestine would host a Gig for Gaza, the group has announced a Cork Concert for Gaza with all funds going to the Palestinian Children's relief fund.
The announcement today comes along with a jam packed line-up, featuring musicians from Declan O'Rourke to Toucan, and writers such as Ghost in The Throat author Doireann Ní Ghríofa and Stinging Fly editor Danny Denton.
After tickets for the Gig for Gaza sold out like hot cakes, the highly anticipated gig – originally scheduled to take place at Vicar Street – was moved to the 3Arena, Dublin.
The real capital is also set to play perform in solidarity with the people of Palestine on December 2nd 2023.
The gig is set to take place at the deconsecrated St. Luke's church in Cork City. The enormous line up includes Declan O'Rourke, Toucan, Caoilian Sherlock, Greenshine, Karen Casey, Jack O'Rourke, Niall McCabe, Stephanie Rainey, Tadgh Hickey, Danny Denton, Julie Goo, Cónal Creedon, Dónal Ryan, Emer Ryan, last but not least Doireann Ní Ghríofa.
Tickets will be on sale tomorrow Thursday November 9th at 10am for €30. All proceeds will go to the Palestine Children's Relief fund.
