Imogen Heap remasters album Speak For Yourself for the 20th Anniversary
Speak For Yourself turns 20 today
Imogen Heap is releasing a remastered and limited edition vinyl of her album Speak For Yourself on October 17, to celebrate its 20th Anniversary
The album was entirely written, produced and mixed by Heap and the artist is said to be "thrilled to celebrate the monumental day." The record's artwork has also been reimagined to amplify its original spirit.
"The playfully filtered portrait is reborn with richer colours, and a refreshed halftone pattern that vibrates with new life – much like the record itself", said the official release.
To celebrate the album’s 20th anniversary, Heap will host a special livestream today at 6pm Irish time across her social media platforms. Fans are invited to join the conversation via the chat at heapster.live.
Over the last 30 years the 'London born' singer has released four solo albums and won two Grammys. She's had collaborations with Taylor Swift and is also a part of electronic pop duo Frou Frou, alongside Guy Sigsworth.
Heaps single 'Hide and Seek' has been remastered ahead of the album re-release. The album track was Certified RIIA Gold in the States and was also parodied on Saturday Night Live's digital short Dear Sister, in 2007.
The remastering will be released via Megaphonic Records alongside the vinyl. You can pre-order the vinyl here.
