Hozier says new album 'on the way'
Hozier has revealed that much of his second album is written, but "it's still in progress."
The Wicklow singer told RTE 2FM's Eoghan McDermott "[The album] is on the way. I've a great deal of it written and demoed and a great deal of it arranged...but it's still in progress. I'm looking forward to it and I'm excited about it."
Hozier has been on hiatus for over a year. His last release was 'Better Love' from The Legend of Tarzan soundtrack in 2016.
He described the hugely anticipated second album as a "mixed bag".
"I think it will be dark but it will have a sense of humour to it and it will be fun too," he said.
Hozier will be performing as part of Amnesty International and Sofar Sounds' "Give a Home" concert series in support of refugees. The gig is in Dublin on September 20.
