House pioneer MK announces Irish gig with special guests Dom Dolla & Jazzy

The Detroit house legend will make his way to Kildare on June 1, 2024, for a headline gig featuring guest performers Dom Dolla and Jazzy. Tickets for the show go live this Friday, November 10 at 9.00am.

Renowned record producer and house artist MK (the pseudonym for Detroit DJ Marc Kinchen) has announced an Irish gig date for next year, alongside special guests and musical collaborators Dom Dolla and Jazzy.

MK will co-headline the two-day series with Irish duo Belters Only in Punchestown Racecourse, Kildare over the June bank holiday weekend. MK is set to play on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Ticket sales go live this Friday, November 10 at 9.00am.

News of the Irish date follows Detroit house legend MK’s recent club hit with Dom Dolla, ‘Rhyme Dust,’ which has received quick success with over 70 million global streams and an ARIA nomination in Australia. The track remained at the top of US Dance Radio charts following its release and sat in the UK Top 100 #1 spot for an impressive 13 weeks.

MK also recently shared a doubly successful collaboration with Sonny Fodera on ‘Asking’ ft. Clementine Douglas, which made the Top 10 on the official chart, and his euphoric piano house anthem ‘Take My Chance,’ which showcases the house artist’s cleverly curated, nostalgic production.

The record producer and DJ – considered one of the first superstars of house music – has had quite a prolific 2023, blazing a trail at major summer festivals including Coachella, Bonnaroo, Reading, Leeds, Longitude, Creamfields, and Glastonbury.

Widely regarded as a pioneer for house, MK has amassed over 1 billion global streams since the start of his career, from a wide range of hits including ‘Burning,’ ‘Always,’ and ‘4You.’ The artist also has a knack for classic reworkings of songs, such as ‘Push The Feeling On’ by Nightcrawlers, a remix which helped define a deeper shade of US House and has gone on to influence producers around the world.
