Hot Press Track of the Day: David Kitt 'Like Lightning'

'Like Lightning', a spontaneous tale about what happens when you miss the last bus out of Galway and suddenly strike upon a beautiful revelation, is accompanied by Margie Lewis' violin and a smooth beat from the beginning to the very end.

Following a nine year gap since his last record as David Kitt, Yous marked a welcome return for the musician. In the meantime he was far from resting on his laurels, and spent his time working on several other projects. He toured and recorded as a member of Tindersticks, produced other musicians’ work and, under his New Jackson moniker, he took a step into house and techno music which earned him a Choice Prize nomination for his 2016 album From Night To Night.
