Hot Press Track of the Day: Eoin Dolan's 'Superior Fiction'

Eoin Dolan's intergalactic new single 'Superior Fiction' echoes of retro vibes and nostalgia.

Its other-worldly soundscape gives the sensation of walking through a dream. Picture yourself driving down an empty motorway with an open roof-top, wind rustling through your hair as you speed off into a sunset; and this song will most likely be playing. It gives you that feeling of losing and finding yourself all at once.

The bizarre use of synths and vocals give it an extraterrestrial feeling, defining its place in new age pop.

Eoin Dolan will release Superior Fiction, a four track E.P on the 24th August. Dolan's latest offering features Conor Deasy on guitar/backing vocals, James Casserly on drums and Adam Sheeran on bass. The record was self-produced and mastered by Fergal Davis.
