Hot Press Track of the Day: Aislinn Logan ‘Fair Game’

Today’s track of the day comes from upcoming talent, Aislinn Logan.

‘Fair Game’ is her latest single and is self-described as “an up-tempo ode to trying your best”. The percussion heavy track has a lot happening beneath the surface that begs for close listening. What should be noted is how well the sound effects and pop production work with Logan’s earthy, rich voice. According to website nialler9, Logan has said about the track “I think nowadays there’s a huge pressure, particularly on young people, to be entirely secure in their direction – to have it all figured out. Oftentimes the opposite is true – it’s about second guessing yourself.”

This is Logan’s first track with the Irish record label Faction. The Belfast born, London based singer will be travelling back to Dublin very soon to perform in Whelan’s on August 12. She will also be performing in Belfast’s Bullit on August 31.
