Such was the compliment paid to Cleveland, Ohio songwriter, producer and rapper Joshua Karpeh, whose ‘Cold War’ featured on Tay-Tay’s ‘London Boy ‘from last year’s Lover LP. As Cautious Clay, Karpeh blends R&B, hip-hop and heartland songwriting, with results that are consistently surprising but always sturdily compelling.
