Hot for 2019 Irish Acts: Seamus Harty

The 17-year-old was unknown outside of Kerry busking circles until last year when a friend posted a sneaky video of him singing and playing guitar on to social media. Invitations to perform at the Rose Of Tralee, Paul Gavin’s fashion line launch and on Today FM’s Louise Duffy Show quickly followed. His profile continues to grow courtesy of the covers and alt. folksy originals he now posts on to his @seamus_harty account himself. It’s early days yet, but don’t be surprised if that online following translates into a meaty record deal.
