Guns N' Roses hint at Irish tour date with cryptic video
After their previous 2023 tour failed to provide an Ireland stop, fans are hopeful that the recent video is confirmation for 2026.
Rock legends Guns N' Roses have hinted that they may be adding a Dublin show to their 2026 tour schedule.
In a new post on their Instagram, the band shared a cryptic video featuring the iconic Guns N' Roses logo. The video was later posted by both the 3Arena and MCD, fuelling speculation about the group's possible return to Ireland.
Guns N' Roses last played Ireland in 2022 at Dublin's Marlay Park and previously headlined the Slane Castle in 2017 and 1992.
Reflecting on the 1992 Slane gig with Hot Press in 2004, Duff McKagan talked about meeting his Irish relatives in Cork for the first time.
"I don’t remember a lot of other things but I remember that ’cause it was the first time that I’d met my family," said McKagan. "I’m Irish-American, but I’d never been to Ireland to see my cousins or that until we played Slane. "The day before the gig we had a day off so I went down to Cork and had a party by the beach."
In 2024 the band was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, which saw their album Appetite for Destruction recognised for its excellence.
