Graham Hopkins kicks off 'Drum Hang' tour this evening – coming to coffee shops across Ireland

Renowned drummer Graham Hopkins (Glen Hansard/Therapy?) has announced his ‘Drum Hang’ tour, where he’ll share stories, tips, and insights from his career in the music industry at intimate venues across Ireland.

The ‘Drum Hangs’ will take place in coffee shops nationwide, starting with a kick-off event at Cork City's Alchemy Coffee this evening, Wednesday, March 19.

He shared on Instagram: "For those of you who’ve been along to previous drum hangs of mine will know, this not your regular drum clinic, but an evening of informal chat about all things drums - gear, gigging, recording & a bit of playing thrown in the mix.

"Audience participation is encouraged & all questions are very welcome adding to the relaxed & friendly atmosphere of the ‘hang’."

March 19 – Alchemy Coffee, Cork City
March 26 – The Pantry, Portlaoise
April 2 – Clew Bay Hotel, Westport
April 10 – Square Coffee, Kildare Town
April 16 – Established Coffee, Belfast
