Glass Animals Drummer Involved in Crash

The band were forced to cancel the remainder of their tour dates after Joe Seaward was taking to hospital following the collision.

Seaward is said to be suffering from a fractured skull and broken leg.

The group made the announcement via their social media pages:

They wrote: “Last Monday my best friend, and our drummer Joe was hit by a truck while on his bike here in Dublin. His leg was broken on impact and he became tangled in the truck’s trailer where his skull suffered a complex fracture. Miraculously and thankfully he is alive. After a couple [of] long operations he is now on the road to recovery."

The group apologised for the cancellation of the tour but reiterated that Seaward's recovery was their priority.

Dates across Europe and the US were affected.
