Girl Band to headline Vicar Street gig with special guests
Indie-rockers take the stage next year in aid of Pieta House.
Supporting headliners Girl Band, fans will be delighted to hear that there will be performances by Lynched and Rusangano Family, two of the band's current favourite Irish acts. Support from the side bar include James Vincent McMorrow, Geoff Travis (Rough Trade) and Aisling O’Riordan(SHB) who will be DJing late in the night.
The four-piece band have put together an evening of music to raise funds for the non-profit suicide and self-harm centre, Pieta House. About 86% of funding for Pieta House comes from public donations and those donations help fuel the free counselling and help for suicidal people in Ireland.
Band members Adam Faulkner, Alan Duggan, Daniel Fox and Dara Kiely commented on the event, "We're very happy to be organising this event as mental health is an issue that is very close to the four of us as a band. We hope this can help raise both much needed cash and awareness for the cause. Hope to see you there."
Tickets are on sale now for the February 17, 2017 Vicar Street gig and are €30.00
